Important Registration Information

Please complete and submit your registration form by August 10, 2015 to register for the 2016 North American Sales Conference.

Before completing your registration, please be sure that you have confirmed your air travel to Cancun for the 2016 North American Sales Conference. Your flight information is required so that we can plan for your transportation.

We have arranged a meeting discount fare with Delta airlines to help reduce costs for your travel to Cancun. Discounted fares will range from 5% to 40% off of selected fare types. You will either need to call Delta directly (800.455.2720) using contract number NMLGN or indicate during registration that you would like DMI Travel to assist with booking your travel.

Please do not contact the hotel directly for room reservations. Your hotel room will be confirmed automatically through your conference registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. When should I plan to arrive/depart the conference?
    Plan to arrive in Cancun by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 and depart on Friday, September 11 after 2:00 pm.
  2. What documentation do I need to enter Cancun?
    You are required to present a passport when entering Mexico. Other nationalities will need to check with the Mexican consulate inside your country for entry requirements.
  3. Will there be ground transportation provided?
    Bushnell will provide complimentary transfers to the hotel and back to the airport during the conference dates of September 9 - 11, 2015. If you arrive prior to or depart after the conference dates, you are on your own.
  4. Will I be responsible for any expenses during the conference?
    Bushnell will provide your hotel room, meals, and ground transportation for the duration of the sales conference. You will be responsible for incidental room charges (dry cleaning, in-room movies, room service, phone calls, etc.), and any activities that you choose to participate in.
  5. May I extend my stay at the Live Aqua?
    Extensions at the Live Aqua are based on availability. The negotiated group rate at the Live Aqua is $339 for single occupancy and $418 for double occupancy. This rate will be in effect for the nights of Sunday, September 6 to Monday, September 14. Please indicate during your registration if you would like to extend your stay at the Live Aqua. You will be responsible fo the charges related to extending your stay.
  6. Is smoking permitted in the sleeping rooms or other areas of the hotel?
    Smoking is permitted in special areas. Please ask the hotel concierge for the specific locations.
  7. Is Internet access available?
    Complimentary internet is available throughout the hotel.
  8. What is the weather like in September?
    In September, the average high temperature is 91 degrees and the average low is 77 degrees.
  9. What will the attire be during the conference?
    Resort casual (dress shorts) is acceptable for the Bushnell sponsored meetings and events. If a more casual or formal attire is appropriate, we will provide this information in the agenda.
  10. What is the time zone in Cancun?
    Cancun is in the Central Standard time zone.
  11. Can I bring a spouse or guest?
    Spouses can only attend the network reception on September 9. The rest of the meeting is for sales reps only.
  12. Should I exchange my money into pesos?
    US Dollars are widely accepted in Cancun. You may wish to convert a small amount to the local currency for tipping (the norm in Cancun is 15%) and other transactions. It is advisable to use your credit card for most transactions so that you can receive the more favorable bank rate of exchange. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are widely accepted.
  13. What type of electricity is available at the hotel?
    Standard current is 110 volt AC, as in the U.S. Three prong outlets are not widely available, so you may wish to bring an adapter.
  14. Can I drink the water at the hotel or in restaurants in Cancun?
    Water at the Live Aqua and other resorts on the hotel strip in Cancun is considered safe to drink. If you wish to take exta precaution, bottled water is available throughout the resort at a charge. If you travel outside of the Live Aqua, it is suggested that you refrain from drinking the water.
  15. Do I need to speak Spanish?
    Cancun is a worldwide resort & tourism destination and English is widely spoken and understood.
  16. Will there be information available about activities I can do on my own?
    Tropical Incentives Cancun DMC will be available during registration on Wednesday, September 9 to assist with information regarding area attractions and activities. Additionally, the hotel concierge will be pleased to assist you in arranging for your special activities.
  17. What do I need to do to make my cell phone make calls from Cancun?
    Each person needs to check with their phone carrier prior to departure regarding international capabilities of their personal cellular device.
